Do You Have Courage or Are You Chicken?

Insight Into the Scriptures
For 10 chapters in Hebrews the author has proven Christ's superiority and examples of the old covenant verses the new covenant. Now, he wraps it up in three phases; believing in Christ takes faith, the Christian faith is not a easy one, and then he gives examples of Godly living.

Blessings
The next chapters are amazing. We could spend a day on each of them. I do not know if you memorize scripture, it is a wonderful tool that you can use against satan, and for your own encouragement. There are two verses in these passages that are worth you looking into:

"And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him." - Hebrew 11:6

"Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it." - Hebrews 13:2

Hebrews 11:1, 11:610:15-17
"Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see."

"And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him."

"And what more shall I say? I do not have time to tell about Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel and the prophets, who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; who shut the mouths of lions, quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword; whose weakness was turned to strength; and who became powerful in battle and routed foreign armies. Women received back their dead, raised to life again."

Thought for the Day
I have almost read the entire Bible now, and I have yet to read about a person who played it safe, one who when they were faced with a tough decision they choose the path less taken. No, the Bible is full of example Believer's who, when faced with a tough act of faith, they choose the radical one. These Followers choose the radical one, and were prepared to take it to the limit because they knew that God was with them. A good example of this is Abraham in verse 19 "Abraham reasoned that God could raise the dead, and figuratively speaking, he did receive Isaac back from death." Abraham was prepare to go all the way, even to the point of killing his own son. He knew what God had promised him and that promise lie in Isaac.

We all have faith, but how radical is your faith? Are you a "Sit on the fence" type of person? Do not lean one way or another? Maybe you have been feeling the Holy Spirit nudging you, but you are afraid to take a radical step? Christ is there by you side waiting to take that step with you, He will never leave you, or forsake you, and the blessings that you will experience will be more than you can imagine.
