Jesus Save Me From Your Followers

Have you ever heard the saying Jesus Save me From Your Followers?

I have always loved the verses in 1 Corinthians 9:20-23. Today, it seems like we become so wrapped up into who is right, and who is wrong. My way is right, your way is wrong. No wonder non believers are sometimes scared of us. I have heard a saying; "Jesus, Save me from your followers." How sad, but what a true statement.

Paul had the perfect mentality. The one thing that mattered was Jesus. Instead of preaching who is right and who is wrong. Paul would meet a person that he wanted to witnessing too, and meet them on their level, then elevate them up to Jesus. We Christians need to meet people on their turf, not wanting them to come over to our turf. Lead them to Jesus, do not push Jesus on them.

The second verse you should memorize and own this verse 1 Corinthians 10:13. It is a promise from God, He WILL NEVER tempt you with more than you are able to handle. ANYTIME that you are tempted by sin, repeat this verse, you will WIN.

One other word on temptation of sin, do not try and debate with the one that is tempting you. The odds are against you, satan has been doing this for thousands of years. When you are tempted, change your focus off the sin, hang up on the "father of lies" repeat the promise from God, and celebrate your victory!!

Cross or stake.. let's not get list in arguing over 'how' he died. The more important factor that we have to agree on is that he died and the reason WHY he died. We have to agree on this. Whether it was a cross or stake doesn't really matter. Just accept the fact that he died for you.

He died because the Romans were racist. The end

This is what happens when religious folk watch too much House M.D.

1. Blood eagle is the most painful punishment known to man and it was around well before crucification.

2. It was rather common for slaves, Murderers, and apostates.

3. Removal of clothes was required. You don't let prisoners wear their street clothes in prison.

4. Hanging is just as guaranteed.

5. I'm a standard day we carry the weight of a sumo wrestler with our thighs this is just wrong and not how romans crucified.

6. In number 5 they say his weight was put on his thighs...

7. Dislocations can from lack of proper nutrition looks like wine and those little wafers don't cut it.

8. The shrowd is a piece of fabric with a stain on it and only shows silouhettes not anything fine enough to construe that kind of detail.

9. He would not have bled that much actually. As far as the clothes "waste not want not" eh Jesus?

10. False besides being tide at the calves his forearms where also bound to the cross so his wrists would not have dislocated unless he did it on purpose.

11. Medically speaking completely backwards (see house reference at top)

12. False the lungs can move independently of the rib cage.

13. When we need to catch our breathe we put our hands above our heads see anything that doesn't add up?

14. When you do squats a 45 degree is where you are strongest. Holding more than your body weight I might add.

15. Wow just false and wrong.

16. Jesus died on purpose why was he afraid?

17. A dislocation is a dislocation it doesn't become worse as it is already dislocated.

18. See above.

19. Once again he "knowingly" died so no fear of it....

20. The 45 ° angle is akin to the fetal position the most natural position for the human body.

21. Nailed in the hand not wrist the nerve would be intact had it been severed he'd have no pain.

22. Mmmhmmm cause you were there.

23. Crucification was a common public practice of course people would be there (the thieves were in jail though Rome was strict)

24. Duh crucification hurts idiot.

25. The next few are just stupid and redundant.

26.-32. See 25.

33. He refused drink isnt that his own fault?

34. The crown and the nails wouldn't cause bleeding as they are puncture wounds and only bleed when not plugged with what was stabbed into said body first. Basic medical knowledge.

35. Thats what happens when all you drink is wine.

36.-38. Complete speculation in its entirety.

39. Lungs don't fill up with pulmonary edema since its a condition and not a liquid. Dumbass...

40. Once again died on purpose not really sire he was concerned with breathing...

41.-45. More proof the writer watches too much house.

46. No

47. See 46.

48. He would've been in shock and unaware at this point so no, stress related conditions do not apply sorry.

49. They didn't want to slow Jesus death. They wanted him to suffer.

50 why slow it down then speed it up this post contradicts itself.

51. See 50.

52. He couldn't speak as all crucifies were gagged to stifle screams.

53. The bones in his hands and feet were broken from nails. This author had no concept of continuity.

54. He died in purpose once again.

55. No he died for our sins not so we could go to heaven...

Response to some of these comments ..
So what was the point in telling us all of that? Do you actually think that your so called "facts" would distress us to the point of changing the way we think and feel, changing our beliefs? Do you think that you're going to convert someone from a believer to a non believer when you spit out your so called "facts", well L-O-L you can spew your so called well thought and researched non believing crud to me all day long, you're not going to change my faith nor my beliefs. There is something that I don't understand and that is this: Why it is that people like you are so angry about what a Christian believes? I mean , if you believed in anything other than Christ would you be mad that the next person did not? More than likely no, you would simply shrug it off and go on about your day as normal. However, its always the anger towards someone believing in Jesus Christ that makes you so enraged but why the anger? If you're a non-believer then just simply be a non believer why jump on and bash Christian posts and start heckling and harassing those who do believe in Jesus Christ? Why are you so mad bro? Normally wouldn't you just simply not care what others believe in and just go on about living your life the way you live it thinking about things the way you think about them and feeling the way you feel? There must be something there for you people to react the way you react and to go out of your way to seek out Christian posts to bash there's something there for you to take such efforts and spend such energy and time into doing this. Don't worry my friends you will find the answers you seek someday I promise have a blessed day in Jesus Christ name amen.

He was killed because of religious people

#23 is incorrect as only one thief that was crucified next to Jesus mocked Him.... The other thief realized Jesus to be the true Son of God and asks Jesus to remember him when He came into His kingdom! Jesus told that thief "Assuredly, you will be with me in paradise today"

Actually, if the crucifixion was even true, there was no resurection. It was customary for the Romans to leave the bodies hanging to rot and be be pecked/eaten by birds,bugs,etc...
In addition, there was no actual witness to any resurrection...just "alleged" visions. The whole story is a farce.
